State Legislative Cornucopia
Some states have laws limiting each legislative bill to a single topic. Not Connecticut! House Bill 7269 is a veritable cornucopia. Introduced on February 22, 2007, the bill is officially described as: "An act concerning criminal history background checks, child pornography, repeated false alarms and the destruction of seized fireworks."

The Connecticut legislature met from January 3, 2007 through June 6, 2007. The Connecticut legislature meets from February 6, 2008 through May 7, 2008. Prefiled bills are allowed. Bills from 2007 DO NOT CARRY OVER to the 2008 session.
